Q. I heard that you have a selection of MATERNITY DRESSES to choose from, is that correct? A. Yes
I have NEBRASKA'S LARGEST MATERNITY CLIENT CLOSET which holds over 500 dresses, gowns, and outfits to choose from for your maternity photo session, even a large variety of costume jewelry and props! There are MANY styles and colors to choose from in sizes Small to 5X. Your session will include time for a short consultation and dress try-ons.
Q. Can I pick MORE IMAGES than what my package includes? A. Yes
Additional images are available with any package for $10 each, 5 for $40, 10 for $75, 15 for $110, or 20 for $140. I will send an invoice for the additional images that is payable before the release of your final, edited images.
Q. Do you require a DEPOSIT before my photo session? A. Yes
A $50 deposit is required AT THE TIME THE APPOINTMENT IS SCHEDULED with the balance due one day prior to the appointment. Please note that if your balance is not paid 24 hours before your appointment time you will forfeit your deposit and your appointment WILL BE CANCELLED!! BRONZE Sessions and Headshots require full payment when scheduling. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, your retainer fee will be transferred to the new appointment time as long as I am given 24 hours advance notice. Invoices are sent to your email and are payable with a credit card, PayPal, or Venmo, Also I can accept Klarna and Affirm now. Your appointment date and time are ONLY reserved upon payment of your deposit. If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours, your appointment date and time will be forfeited.
Q. HOW MANY PROOFS will I have to choose from? A. Lots
During any 30-45minute photo session (excluding newborn), I normally shoot anywhere from 50-85 images, depending on the cooperation of the subject(s). The link to view your proofs will be emailed to you with minimal initial edits. These proofs will be available online for 14 days for you to choose your favorites, I will then edit the images that you have chosen. Your final photos will be available also for 14 days to download during that time.
Q. How LONG will it take to get my FINAL images? A. 2 weeks
14 DAYS FOR FINALS.
Please allow 5 days to receive your proofs then 14 days to receive your final images once you have chosen your favorites and notified me. If your session does not include them, you will get your final images in 14 days.
Q. When is the BEST time to do NEWBORN PICTURES? A. 5-24 days after birth
Newborns are the easiest to photograph when they are between 5 and 24 days. When a baby is born, their bones are still soft, more like cartilage. The older they get, the harder their bones become and the harder it is to pose them in the adorable shots that everyone loves. I have photographed 'newborns' up to 3 months of age but they almost always require being wrapped in order to get sleeping pictures and are not near as flexible as the younger babies. However it is NEVER TOO LATE!
Q. Do you provide CLOTHING for a NEWBORN photo shoot? A. Yes
I provide everything for newborn sessions: Clothes, props, blankets, headbands, bonnets, sleepy caps. I will ask you to choose a color for your session then I will choose everything else to coordinate with that color.
Q. Do you offer MINI SESSIONS? A. Yes

Q. What happens if I am LATE to my appointment? A. Read please!
If you are MORE THAN 15 minutes late, you might be asked to reschedule your appointment for another day/time. If you are 30 minutes or more late, you will forfeit your deposit and be refunded the balance if it was paid, and your session will be cancelled. PLEASE DON'T BE TOO LATE.
Q. Do you have a Client Closet? A. Yes
My client closet has many dressy outfits for children to wear for pictures, even dress shirts and jackets for men and several 'bump friendly' dresses for women. Check with me before you purchase clothes for pictures. I have many outfits that go with themed backdrops for birthdays for children or special occasions. I have pictures of the majority of outfits with sizes on my phone so text me and I can share those with you.
Q. Do you have very many different BACKGROUNDS to choose from? A. Yes
I currently have over 300 physical backdrops which includes seasonal and children's themes, and a ginormous collection of digital backdrops. I am always adding new backdrops, either physically or digitally. I am also able to CREATE backgrounds with the help of AI so if you are looking for something unique, let's talk!!
Q. Do you do HAIR and MAKEUP? A. No and Yes, respectively
I do not offer hair services so please make sure that your hair is ready when you arrive. I can add makeup during post-processing (foundation, eyelashes, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyebrows) so please let me know during your appointment if you want any makeup applied during post processing.
Q. Can I purchase images that have not been edited or RAW images? A. NO.
I do not and will not release or sell unedited or RAW images under any circumstances. Creative rights EXCLUSIVELY belong to the photographer. If you do not want to have your images posted on social media or here on my website, please notify me in advance and I will not share them.
Q. Do you do Weddings or Boudoir Pictures? A. No
I would be happy to take your engagement photos but I know that many photographers offer package deals when combined with their wedding package. I don't offer boudoir, however I am always open to tastefully sexy pictures, just not completely nude.
Q. Do I have to order PRINTS through you? A. No, but you can!
I do not try to upsell prints or do in-person sales for prints. My packages are delivered as High Resolution (HR) digital images with full printing rights for you to print as you wish, any size, any quantity. However you can order prints online through the website where your images are delivered. The prints will be shipped from a company that I have used for over 10 years. The prices are very competitive with the corner drugstore and you will receive professionally printed images sent directly to you without having to leave home. My company uses Kodak Endura Archive Professional Paper and many other options are available for printing such as canvas, metal prints, and several backing options so that you don't have to buy frames! Check it out when you get your final images!
Q. Why hire a professional photographer? A. Many reasons!
*I know how to expertly use my camera and equipment and have been shooting for 20+ years now.
*Your images will be edited beautifully. You don't have to worry about skin breakouts, lipstick on your teeth, or shadows where they aren't supposed to be. Even lens reflections on your glasses can be removed.
*I will do everything in my power to evoke genuine emotion and laughter....even if I have to roll on the floor and take your pictures upside-down!
*I can help you pose so that the areas that you don't like aren't so prominent in your images. With the proper body positioning, a lot of things can appear better than they might actually be!! (wink wink) I have been properly trained with knowledge in many situations.
*I can help you prepare your clothing and help with styling
*I know some awesome locations in Lincoln if you choose an outdoor photo shoot!
*You can borrow from my client closet so you don’t have to purchase clothing-and I have a large variety of children's clothing!
*I have professional gear...camera, lenses, lighting, backdrops
*I can help you order professional prints from my website if you don't want to deal with the corner drugstore!
*I can help make your experience fun and low stress!
*I have lots of props to style and enhance your image surroundings, however the focus will still be on YOU!
*I will provide you with truly beautiful photographs, a stellar experience, and help with so many of those small details that you might not even think of yourself! My studio is clean and private, and you will not be asked to sit in a waiting room with other customers!
Q. Can I bring Fido to our family pictures? A. Only for outdoor sessions.
Because I photograph a lot of newborns and children AND have carpet in my studio, I do not allow pets of any kind in my studio for allergy reasons, fur, and potty reasons. However, you are more than welcome to bring pets when your session is outdoors.
