My Mother put a camera in my hands when I was 14, which was a longggg time ago! haha I love all kinds of photography from maternity, to newborn, children, and families, as long as I have a face in front of me. I used to do a lot of macro photography but when we bought our current house, I knew that I wanted to make a studio in the lower level. I wanted my studio to be different, to make it feel like you are going to your mom's house. I didn't want people to feel like they were being rushed through the mall's department store photography studio with 15 kids in the waiting room running around screaming with runny noses. Been there, done that, not going back. Relax. Listen to music while I take your picture. Laugh with me at my corny jokes. Laugh AT me while I do silly things to make your kids laugh. All of us need a little less stress in our lives, especially when it's time for pictures.
I like all genres of music and chances are music will be playing in my studio during your photo session. I played the piano (and organ a little) when I was young, which started my love for music. Often times I will sing to newborns as I am posing them for pictures. I love buttered popcorn with m & m's sprinkled on top and friendly dogs. I am as down-to-earth as you can get and I will wear a tshirt and yoga pants with my hair in a ponytail for your session!! My sense of humor is very dry with a hint of sarcasm. Life is too short to NOT have fun!!

Location and Hours:
My studio is located in Waterford Estates at 1201 N 102nd Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, which is only 4 minutes from Southeast Community College on 84th and O Street. You can park right by the front door. I have a full professional studio in the lower level of my home with private access that is separated from my living area.
I take appointments for Friday and Saturday starting at 8:00 am with my last appointment at 4:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00am until 2pm. I can also try to accommodate special requests.
Safety Protocols:
The following safety precautions are ALWAYS taken in my studio:
1)Any prop that is touched during a photoshoot will be sanitized either by washing the item, spraying it with sanitizer, or steamed.
2) I get every vaccination and immunization offered by my physician . including the Tdap, flu, and RSV, however if for any reason I feel like I am "coming down with something" I will wear a mask or reschedule, especially for a newborn session. I always wash my hands with anti-bacterial soap and use hand sanitizer before touching a newborn and several times during the session. I will always be clean and have my hair tied back. Kissing babies is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
3) Hand railings, door knobs, and the bathroom are cleaned and sanitized regularly,
4) Maternity dresses that have been worn for a photo shoot will be hung up for 48 hours without being touched. and after that they are either laundered if soiled or steamed if not soiled. Any undergarments are ALWAYS laundered.
